LIDI Table runner
A table runner is a long, narrow piece of fabric or material that is placed on top of a table to add decoration or protect the table's surface. Table runners are typically placed down the center of the table, although they can also be used diagonally or in a crosswise fashion.
"LIDI pohon kelapa" is the Indonesian term for coconut tree bone stick or coconut rib stick, which refers to the long, thin and flexible strips of wood that are extracted from the coconut tree trunk. These sticks are commonly used in Southeast Asia for making various handicrafts, such as baskets, fans, and mats. Using a woven mat made from coconut sticks is known as "anyaman LIDI" in Indonesian. These mats are durable, lightweight, and have a natural rustic charm that makes them a popular choice for home decor.
